just got two new re001's on the back!!! should make a difference compared to the very very bald ones that were on there

Sweet, nice legacy mate! Are the fronts near same tread as the rears?

on the back? as a rule I always put new shoes on the front... (well my tire guys does)

yeah front ones are some random brand that were on the car when I got it they are pretty much new. not sure of the brand. as for the new tires on the back I mentioned to him putting them on the front and said better to have all that grip at the back so that it don't slide out?

its actually reccomended by the mta that new tyres go on the back off all cars. but i prefer controllable oversteer to barely controllable understeer

and front braking is also a small issue with shitty tires on the front.

whys that? its constructive conversation

nah just he said/she said fight - many different reasons & no specific conclusion reached..

still prefer front (then it will degenerate into which brands are better value whi's dick is bigger etc)

Sweet, so they are pretty much new then. Because you probably know but it's not always the best having un-equal tread depths as it messes with the AWD system (diffs and stuff).

But I ran my pirellis for a few months uneven until I heard it was bad :o Then went and did all 4 with new bridgestones.

New Tires on a FWD car on the front,on a RWD on the back the way I look at it put them on the end that needs the most traction :)

AWD vehicles should ALWAYS have the tires changed as a set of 4

never have i replaced all 4 on any on my awd cars

Rear strut brace arrived today. just need to get some nuts to put it on ;D

/quote]

use the rear strut top hat nuts, or you mean the nuts that hold ends of the brace?

I'll have to have another look when I get home. Didn't really get time to have a good look at it. But I'm meaning the top hat nuts.

your top hats have nuts already, undo one side and put brace on - reattach nuts. :)

repeat for the other side.

      Afternoon team,
im new to the group first time posting. Im hoping some body can help me get my launch control all dialled in on my link g4x. Ive had the computer and car all tuned from chris at prestige awesome knowlegable guy super happy with the results but now im wanting to get my launch/anti lag all dialled in. Ive been reading multiple different forums etc all with different conflicking information which has made me nervious with what do i listen to this or that if you get what i mean. Now ive started to make myself familiar with my PClink software etc the past few weeks and im eager to learn how to do minor setups or tweaks etc so im not relieing on my tuner so much and obviously saving myself abit hurt in the back pocket.
Now back to the question at hand.... Im wondering if theres and one who could please share there knowledge and wisdom with setting all my values, timing, fuel etc when i have launch control armed and engaged, or even a launch tune file they can possibly send me to load onto my tune. Ive figured out the setup of my digital inputs turning launch control on etc and its obvisously on its pre set factory settings. It engages but doesnt sound the greatest or as angry as it should i feel. Hence reaching out to you good buggers.

Cheers in advance for any info and help yous maybe able to give me.

      Cheers Shaun
