What size does GF8 have?

NZ v5/v6 brochure sez fuel tank capacity on WRX, STi, sedans, wagon & coupe is 60L

when the low fuel comes on there\'s approx. 10L left.

I was sure it was 60l. Noticeably better economy running CL wideband as opposed to narrow on 340km trip today very worthy investment. Only entertainment I have when the subs not in 6"x4 are shit for music. Furtherest I think I got was roughly 60km from when the light came on and didnt die.

Iv got a few questions myself, im looking at a 1996 legacy gtb and would like any information on them that anyone has. how much horsepower?

Whats prone to breaking? pretty nervous as its done a few kms but it has 10g of receipts in the last 2 years on everything apart from the engine...

i have previously owned a 1999 legacy gtb and loved every bit of it until blew the big end bearing which then required the long block to be reconditioned... so most of all i want to know if the 1996 gtbs are prone to blowing big end bearings like the 99 gtbs are rumored to..

Best advice: Get one with a rebuild or spend a touch more for a low KM one, they\'re all pretty notorious for BEB failure - just age and the treatment they generally receive. Just hunt around - for every high km one you see there will be another with half for the same cost, they aren\'t exactly rare cars these days

From what I\'ve seen you can generally pick up a BH for the same (ish) $$ as a BG of similar age & condition, just personal preference but I\'d steer towards getting the later model anyway

Buying off amazon was a lot cheaper for me. With youshop, you would be paying NZD $17.50 postage assuming Amazon does free shipping.

That being said, you could probably pick one up cheap second hand on trademe.

Would a GC8/GF8 or a GD,GG front sway bar fit a Legacy BE/BH??

i know the rear ones aren\'t straight fit but i wanna know if the front ones are or aren\'t. Need a definite answer,Yes or No, not "yeah it should"

Where do I buy an oil sandwich plate thing from? I got one with my defi genome gauges, but it\'s missing the seal and the seal place I went to in onehunga were not so confident in giving me something. So it might be easier to just buy a new one then risk using the wrong seal. See scarles sell a pro sport one, will that do?

Taumaranui had 98 last time I was through about 3 months ago.

I have used touch up paint on a few deep stone chips in my Altezza, I have built them up a little high now though. Can I use a realy high grain Sandpaper and wet sang it back or will I damage the original paint?

Yep, rang them and they are 24hrs Taumarunui and Te Kuiti both have 98, but Te Kuiti was closed when I passed through sometime around 10ish.

anyone else out there with a TT legacy got an almost buzzy sound coming from engine bay when under load? sounds like its coming from the passenger side so thinking primary ready to shit its pants. doesn\'t make a peep when stationary so am struggling to work it out without having to try get into the turbo.
