Failed a WOF in the Altezza,..

Cracked Windscreen which I was prepared for, Light bulb wasnt sitting in its holder properly and Steering rack mount bushes.

Took it to a good mechanic who couldn't see the problem and bet me $20 if I wipe over the bolts, put some fresh grease on and took it back it would pass.

I had to get my steering rack bushes replaced in the last wof too...tell you what, it made a HUGE difference! Feels awesome now.

Got a new windscreen, fixed light bulb and took the car back without touching the Rack mount bushes or anytinhg related to them... Passed without a mention from anyone. VTNZ is a joke.

Took wagoon for WOF, passed first time (shouldn't have), WOF man pointed out something rattling inside the exhaust (concerning)

Whipped exhaust off, after much angle grinding found a pipe sleeve (like from the double skin inside the cat or something?) physically jammed across the one resonator it had, meaning my big exhaust was effectively about 1-1.5 inch haha. Always thought it sounded a bit more muffled than most. Solution being remove resonator, replace with straight pipe.

I now have more volume and twice the pops & bangs, and it goes mucho better (go figure)

Passed a WoF - license plate bulb and steering rack boot needed replaced.

Good thing they didn't notice the gasket between the down-pipe and mid-pipe is somewhere around non-existant.

Run in road tune done!!

Nice and safe, just running wastegate pressure (12-13ish psi actuator)

I'll get WOF and Rego now and put some km's on it.

G4 Knock link works awesome, the green is a little bright at night though, might try to find a rubber diffuser to fit over when its night or when im not really caining it.

Well picked the car up the Tuesday night from the workshop, have spent a couple days running around to and from work. Got dynoed at 193kw ATW on 15psi, which i thought was pretty low but as it's a non sti non forged block, and daily driven i'm not too keen on pushing much more through it. But seat of the pants it feels pretty good. Got to get it sorted for a warrant this weekend, a couple things need sorting :-\

had to buy a new crankshaft sensor and get it installed for 200 bucks. all i wanted to do today was go out to repco to pick up some new speakers for 60 and that didn't happen......

You should have asked on here first, I've got 2 spare crank sensors and one spare cam, would've been cheap cheap

      Afternoon team,
im new to the group first time posting. Im hoping some body can help me get my launch control all dialled in on my link g4x. Ive had the computer and car all tuned from chris at prestige awesome knowlegable guy super happy with the results but now im wanting to get my launch/anti lag all dialled in. Ive been reading multiple different forums etc all with different conflicking information which has made me nervious with what do i listen to this or that if you get what i mean. Now ive started to make myself familiar with my PClink software etc the past few weeks and im eager to learn how to do minor setups or tweaks etc so im not relieing on my tuner so much and obviously saving myself abit hurt in the back pocket.
Now back to the question at hand.... Im wondering if theres and one who could please share there knowledge and wisdom with setting all my values, timing, fuel etc when i have launch control armed and engaged, or even a launch tune file they can possibly send me to load onto my tune. Ive figured out the setup of my digital inputs turning launch control on etc and its obvisously on its pre set factory settings. It engages but doesnt sound the greatest or as angry as it should i feel. Hence reaching out to you good buggers.

Cheers in advance for any info and help yous maybe able to give me.

      Cheers Shaun
