What have you done to your car today?

Hey all - Replaced rear brakes on my B4 with Bendix pads from Supercheap. Flushed out old brown brake fluid and replaced with DOT 4 green fluid from same shop. Went screaming around suburbia trying to bed the pads in peak hour!!! - Front pads tomorrow....

Have just spent $130 at Crowes to be told that my funny noise was a loose heat shield, that my idle was f#*ked because of a piece of hose coming off my HKS BOV which now makes F all noise and they found 3 oil leaks that are going to cost me a grand to fix! F my life!!! Word of advice... NEVER EVER deal with Clunies automotive! The gear box was only out 4 months ago and they f*#ked that up and overcharged me and now their shoddy work is going to cost me again

o-o i\'ve been there a few times and stopped because you never know what monkey they\'ll throw on your car, there are a couple there that know what the go is but honestly I wouldn\'t trust them to work on my car.

Did that free castor mod thing this morning (reversing the mount thingy) - put photos in my garage thread

Ran up the hills first, leg cramped up while I was under the car, that\'s always a highlight

Found car already had aftermarket ALK or castor bushes / whatever, does make one wonder what life it led before it ended up with me

Took everything \'subaru parts" i have left to the scrap incl a complete 4.444 rear lsd diff, gear sets, CDB, exhaust manifolds, & IC piping, PS pumps, Alt/ couple of starter motors & got $150.00 what a waste as it was all usable....SAD DAY

all i have left is the car & my rebuilt G/Box with an A/M 1st/2nd gear set.

paulngui they are by Mars Performance in Australia and I got them shipped here within a week of purchase for a little over 500 NZ and I agree the cost is a bit hard to justify but I found that once they were on I had all the justification I needed ;D

They also had a couple of other styles available but I liked the smoked look the best. They are similar to the Valenti style tail lights with the brake lights being L.E.D. but with these the indicators are still bulbs so no need to change the relay to accommodate the hyper blink.
