Brake pads were simply low and needed a change, was happy it was just the pads that i needed to change not the whole rotor etc

Today I took my Sektas to a man with a big assed lathe to attack them and make them round again. Hopefully can balance them tomorrow without so many wieghts on them this time!

Drove it! Round and round the block by the workshop. Re-fitted all the interior and wired in a few more switches. Also got the speedo working thanks to Optical and Jesus. Now I can't wait to get it road legal and then run in and then start winding some boost into it. Feels alot more responsive than last time it ran (two years ago.....)

Has been off the road for over two years now so definitely not a daily. Plus it generally uses more gas than my BMW so not economical either (injectors don't like small openings so end up with a very rich cruise tune, G4 might fix that)

Took it to Hampton Downs and didnt blow it up. Did a 1:22.6 according to my gps timer, not too bad I think for a completely stock version 6 sti with brakes being a bit off and my first time there/first trackday in this car. Hit the 180kph limiter about 80m before the pit entry which was a bit annoying as well

Used Subaru upper engine cleaner, not too much smoke came out so that was a promising sign. Fitted up oil pressure gauge and sender and hopefully doing oil and filter change tomorrow.
