Hmmm... Wondering if I should be getting one too.

Does everyone else’s look like this when they chuck their details in?

Could be a translation issue but i’d read that as it saying it’s already done, although it shouldn’t be as it was imported before the notification date

I just went there and it's now the Apache default page, oops it's broken.

note "not implemented" says it all.

the already carried maybe the notification public or owner, not the repair.

Checked mine and GRB is on the list to be done.

so nz website didn't list it but is on Japanese one so time to go get a bunch of rattles put into the dash.

also my translation is different but it's all about that note.

[Caution for car not yet implemented]
Although you can update the car inspection, please contact the nearest dealer as soon as possible to repair it.

This is what I got when I plugged my details in the Japanese website.

By the look of it it seems it may not have been done.

Still hard to tell as it says implementation done, bu then in red it has the unexecuted cars caution.

Oh well, I will just wait for my second letter

Wondering if I'll get a letter being it wasn't on nz list?

I would think you should, mine was one the NZ list last year, then disappeared of that list this year

I have 3 out of 4 bps recalled. All parts are in stock at dealers for mine. Need to find time to do them though

Are they NZ new or imports?

Subaru NZ have added a VIN search to their website for affected NZ New and Import vehicles: https://www.subaru.co.nz/takata

I went to this but my VIN is only 9 numbers and they need 17.

I did add extra 0's in the middle to see if that would bring it up and all it said was that VIN number was not associated with any recall.

I'm super glad my RA isn't on this recall list, mainly because LOL yeah, there's not much RA left in it bar the interior (minus the GDB steering column and steering wheel).

Side note, I've removed the GDB Airbag.

If I got recalled and they'd not give me a wof because of this kafuffle, I'm not sure what they'd say because really, my RA it's a complete mongrel.

Use the NZTA one on the opposite strut tower.

Can get it from chucking your plate into carjam too

Hmm you must be in the VIP list with all your BPs because everybody else has to wait

All nz new. 1 outback is my offroad towing one/work hack. 1 is my weekend legacy/trip car manual one. 1 is my old work hack that didn't have traction control so now used when we have visitors and is also on your drive. 1 was bought for renting out and currently rented out.

Wife has a v11. Not recalled.

There must be some seriously rough techs out there. Our apprentice has pre facelift BP/BL down to under an hour for dash removal, remove and disassemble passenger airbag, fit new inflator, and refit to vehicle.

And no, you don't fail a WOF if it hasn't been completed. Yet. It will happen though, probably end of next year.

Hey @chulozumo I checked yours for you. Because I had your Vin. Handy for reasons I won't Divulgue. How are you feeling about handing your keys for the RA-R over to Subaru NZ emoji23.pngemoji23.png

Not looking forward to it. They will be getting a stern talking to and a reminder on who they are dealing with and the well known history of Flat Four Specialist and Brendan Pollock, they will understand not to F*** it up after that i think.

Pretty happy Subaru Japan is honouring the recall on the under manifold Inlet pipe though, thats on its way from JDM land atm. I thought i was gonna get left high and dry over that. I hope they let me keep the old on.

I just hope it comes back with absolutely no rattles, like how it is now. So quiet.

      Afternoon team,
im new to the group first time posting. Im hoping some body can help me get my launch control all dialled in on my link g4x. Ive had the computer and car all tuned from chris at prestige awesome knowlegable guy super happy with the results but now im wanting to get my launch/anti lag all dialled in. Ive been reading multiple different forums etc all with different conflicking information which has made me nervious with what do i listen to this or that if you get what i mean. Now ive started to make myself familiar with my PClink software etc the past few weeks and im eager to learn how to do minor setups or tweaks etc so im not relieing on my tuner so much and obviously saving myself abit hurt in the back pocket.
Now back to the question at hand.... Im wondering if theres and one who could please share there knowledge and wisdom with setting all my values, timing, fuel etc when i have launch control armed and engaged, or even a launch tune file they can possibly send me to load onto my tune. Ive figured out the setup of my digital inputs turning launch control on etc and its obvisously on its pre set factory settings. It engages but doesnt sound the greatest or as angry as it should i feel. Hence reaching out to you good buggers.

Cheers in advance for any info and help yous maybe able to give me.

      Cheers Shaun
