What have you done to your car today?

Yup. Put an LED in the high stop, and ABS code. And can't read the code without a SubaruSelect scan tool, so I'm just gonna leave it incandescent.

If you know a way around it do tell :P

Not sure what the bulb type is for that one, but most have options out there with internal resistors that mimic the loading of a traditional bulb to prevent weird issues like that.

I'm pretty sure it is to do with the resistance. you can get thinfs like these: https://www.aliexpress.com/item/MCIGICM-50W-6ohm-8ohm-10ohm-8-Pack-Load-Resistors-Fix-LED-Bulb-Fast-Hyper-Flash-Turn/32829835196.html

Not sure how well they'll work

Haha embarrassingly I didn't realise that it was the LED triggering the ABS fault for way too long.
Spent ages cleaning ABS sensors and even got to the point of buying spares...

I did too! Didn't get as far as spares, but did the cleaning, even cleaned the ABS rings on the CV joints, which involved pulling the CV shafts out lol.

Thanks! Am gonna try the Osram bulbs first. And probably buy those too, cos they're cheap - handy to have.

Good stuff. How accurate do you reckon that GPS speedo is? Mine was all over the place at Manfeild but not sure if it's just a bit of a gimmick or whether the steel roof was impacting it, compared to yours which looks to be just below the windscreen?

I think the speedo is probably pretty accurate... g-force might be accurate but it's never in sync and quite erratic, so hard to corroborate the values.

I've been driving the wife's car for the past couple of weeks as we are only using one car and it's cheaper to run around town. Took the Outback to Amberly today to drop one of my boys of to his granddad's and on the way back I had a little bit of fun off roading. Unfortunately I caught the under tray by the left wheel on something without realizing it, it only became an issue about 1km from home. It now has a large hole where it dropped on to the Tyre. Then while picking my other boy up tonight I managed to get a stone caught in the LHS front brake. Luckily I was able to remove it.

Still was worth it for the off road fun.

Now I just need to lift it to avoid these situations.

Lesson learned - don't buy Repco brand paints. They're crap. Especially the primer. Wouldn't adhere to my grille surround no matter what.

But anyway, got around to finally starting on painting my Supertones, Grille surround and metal grilles, and wiper arms. Should get most of it done tomorrow.

I have found the same! I generally stay away from anything Repco branded

Agreed except for the tools. Nothing wrong with their tools for the most part and they typically have a lifetime warranty.

A bit of a mismatch. Facelift BL/BP upper, pre-facelift base with facelift memory motorised rails with freshly installed microsuede centre sections.

I love seats like that! Suede centre, and leather outers My S401 has them, and they're great.

Nice! I was watching from the harbour... even caught a few fish. The sound echoing off the hills was pretty excellent.

Sweet... if you heard a Subaru, it was definitely me... being the only Subaru at the event. Still road legal so not as loud as most cars there.

Yep, I saw one of your runs, didn't get it on camera though. Figured it was you. Car sounded very racecar, plenty of good pops and crackles.

The V8 Skyline sounded rather glorious too.

A very sweet sound indeed... a real race car motor in that thing.
